Rizz（
i/ˈrɪz/）这互联网用语在英语中为“Charisma”（魅力非凡）的缩写，有著“型格、魅力超然与令人著迷”的意思。尽管在口语中已有使用纪录，但该词直到2021年中期才走出非裔美国人社群的框架，而这都要归功于美国YouTuber兼Twitch实况主凯·塞纳特的广泛推广。Rizz凭此在社交媒体应用程式TikTok上爆红[1]，并在2023年获牛津大学出版社选为年度单字[2]。

走红
[编辑]尽管阿法世代也有大量使用[7]，但说Rizz的主要为Z世代[8]。该词随后进一步衍生出皆有“魅力四射的人”之意的“Rizzler”或“Rizz God”[9]，以及指“不发一言便能吸引别人”的“Unspoken Rizz”[10]。
该俚语在2021年中期开始因为Twitch实况主凯·塞纳特的关系而爆红，他会在直播上跟观众分享如何具有Rizz，并开发出诸如描述某人诱惑或与别人/暗恋对象聊天时能否成功的“W rizz”和“L rizz”[11]。两年后，塞纳特在播客节目《Adam22》上表示自Rizz流行起来之后便不再使用它，并批评TikTok“残杀了”这单词[11]。该词在2023年6月因英国演员汤姆·赫兰德接受BuzzFeed访问后二度走红，还催出生许多迷因，他在节目上称自己的Rizz有限，是靠“放长线钓大鱼”的方式才交到同为演员的现女友赞达亚[12]。
Rizz被牛津大学出版社选为2023年年度单字[13][14]。之所以选择该词，个中原因在于它说明了语言在社群中形成、塑造和共享，然后在社会中被广泛接受的过程，亦表明年轻世代已经有能力去拥有和打造其独有语言。而随著Z世代对社会的影响越来越大，他们的观点和生活方式差异也会陆续显示在语言之中[13]。主审之一的卡斯珀·格拉思沃尔（Casper Grathwohl）指出尽管上一年的年度单字“哥布林模式”在COVID-19大流行期间引起许多人的共鸣，但能看到像Rizz那样截然不同的词汇脱颖而出仍是一件十分有趣的事。他补充说该俚语部分反映了人们开始对彼此敝开心扉，看看谁更有自信的2023年公众情绪。其使用率上升也引证网路文化的词语和短语“正逐渐成为日常用语的一部分”[13][14]。

In one of De Tolla's videos, he says that Dunne "rizzed" Madden while convincing him to attend LSU. In another video, he jokes that Madden "rizzed up" Dunne and the 10-year-old stole the gymnastics star from her boyfriend, the "drip king." "Drip" refers to swagger and style.
