NGC 6871是天鹅座中一个小且年轻的疏散星团。该星团的成员不到50颗恒星，其中大多数是蓝白色的恒星。它距离地球5,135光年。
NGC 6871至少与其它6个疏散星团诞生在同一个巨分子云中。它与其它这些疏散星团间没有引力联系，但NGC 6871本身似乎已在瓦解[5]。
