啟示錄第20章是《新約聖經》中《啟示錄》或稱《約翰啟示錄》的第二十章。該書傳統上被歸於使徒約翰所著，但作者的確切身份仍是學術界爭論的焦點。[1]本章記載了著名的「千禧年」以及死者的審判。[2]該章圍繞著三個主題，分別是龍（撒但）的審判、上帝公義的辯護以及聖徒的最終得勝與榮耀。[3]
基督統治千年
[編輯]這部分所寫的是聖徒的伸冤與榮耀，這是先前神對殉道者承諾的實現。[3]具體內容包括撒旦被捆綁關押在無底坑中，然後在末日被打敗並投入火湖。神為聖徒們流血的罪伸冤，並賜予他們榮耀。[3]
第一至第三節
[編輯]我又看見一位天使從天降下，手裡拿著無底坑的鑰匙和一條大鏈子。他捉住那龍，就是古蛇，又叫魔鬼，也叫撒旦，把它捆綁一千年，扔在無底坑裡，將無底坑關閉，用印封上，使它不得再迷惑列國。等到那一千年完了，以後必須暫時釋放它。[4]
「天使從天降下」，意味著其肩負著來自寶座的神聖使命。[5]這是《啟示錄》中出現的第四把鑰匙，顯示出神對被造世界的主權。這位天使不僅有鑰匙，還有一條「大鏈子」來更牢固地捆綁撒但，強化了監禁的意象。[6]「天使從天降下」戲劇性地宣告撒旦並非上帝的對立面或同等者，上帝可以隨時輕易地阻止撒旦的活動。然而上帝卻允許撒旦繼續存在，因為即使在他作惡的時候也間接地成就了上帝的旨意。[7]在文中「古蛇」是伊甸園的引誘者，是日夜控告信徒的敵人，也是誘導人類犯罪的撒但。[8]
