本法令旨在將馬來亞聯合邦、北婆羅洲、砂拉越和新加坡合併並組成馬來西亞聯邦，以及就相關事宜訂定條文。（An Act to make provision for and in connection with the federation of North Borneo, Sarawak and Singapore with the existing States of the Federation of Malaya.）

《1963年馬來西亞法令》（英語：Malaysia Act 1963）是英國國會的一項法令。該法令於1963年7月31日獲英國女皇伊利沙伯二世御准，並於當日刊憲生效。

該法令將馬來亞聯合邦^[1]^[2]^[3]、新加坡、北婆羅洲和砂拉越合併，於1963年9月16日成立一個名為馬來西亞的新聯邦制國家。^[4]

馬來西亞國會於1965年8月8日通過緊急動議，將新加坡從聯邦除名。新加坡於1965年8月9日宣布獨立。^[5]

馬哈迪卸任後，於2020年9月16日強調，必須支持1963年馬來西亞法令，以便馬來半島、沙巴和砂拉越維持平等夥伴地位。他也回憶當年國父東姑阿都拉曼於1963年9月16日在默迪卡體育場宣布馬來西亞成立時，當時38歲的他心情複雜：「我感到光榮，因為馬來聯邦，沙巴（北婆羅洲），砂拉越（砂拉越自治）和新加坡共同組成了馬來西亞；同時我感到忐忑不安，許多鄰國如印度尼西亞，強烈反對馬來西亞的成立。」^[9]^[10]^[11]。
