yung kai（本名：Max Zhang，2000年—）是华裔加拿大籍男歌手[1]，在2024年以一首歌曲《Blue》而知名，并于告示牌全球二百大单曲榜登上最高排名第19，并且在菲律宾百大单曲榜和印尼歌曲榜均登上前五名，其中印尼歌曲榜更是登上冠军。[2]
早年生活
[编辑]yung kai出生于加拿大温哥华[3]，在中国上海市长大，并在成年之后再度回到温哥华生活。他在儿时学习如何打鼓、弹钢琴和吉他，并于2018年开始兼职制作音乐，以创作节奏为乐[4]。
职业生涯
[编辑]现居温哥华的yung kai透过在TikTok上传自己的翻唱影片建立自己的媒体形象，并与bbno$等艺人建立合作关系[5][6]。到2024年，yung kai以一首单曲《Blue》在TikTok、Facebook、Instagram等社交网站走红，因此让他取得商业成功[7]，且成为艺人经纪公司Wasserman的经纪人[8]。2025年，yung kai受邀登上Wanderland十周年纪念音乐节表演[9]。
影响和艺术性
[编辑]yung kai深受林冰、凯西、更高兄弟和Wave To Earth等音乐人的影响，他称这些音乐人为自己最大的灵感来源，尽管yung kai的音乐风格截然不同，但他也受到了朱斯·沃尔德、XXXTentacion和扬·萨格等饶舌歌手的启发[4]，而yung kai的音乐是在他的房间录制的[10]。
