yung kai（本名：Max Zhang，2000年—）是華裔加拿大籍男歌手[1]，在2024年以一首歌曲《Blue》而知名，並於告示牌全球二百大單曲榜登上最高排名第19，並且在菲律賓百大單曲榜和印尼歌曲榜均登上前五名，其中印尼歌曲榜更是登上冠軍。[2]
早年生活
[编辑]yung kai出生於加拿大溫哥華[3]，在中國上海市長大，並在成年之後再度回到溫哥華生活。他在兒時學習如何打鼓、彈鋼琴和吉他，並於2018年開始兼職製作音樂，以創作節奏為樂[4]。
職業生涯
[编辑]現居溫哥華的yung kai透過在TikTok上傳自己的翻唱影片建立自己的媒體形象，並與bbno$等藝人建立合作關係[5][6]。到2024年，yung kai以一首單曲《Blue》在TikTok、Facebook、Instagram等社交網站走紅，因此讓他取得商業成功[7]，且成為藝人經紀公司Wasserman的經紀人[8]。2025年，yung kai受邀登上Wanderland十周年紀念音樂節表演[9]。
影響和藝術性
[编辑]yung kai深受林冰、凯西、更高兄弟和Wave To Earth等音樂人的影響，他稱這些音樂人為自己最大的靈感來源，儘管yung kai的音樂風格截然不同，但他也受到了朱斯·沃尔德、XXXTentacion和扬·萨格等饒舌歌手的啟發[4]，而yung kai的音樂是在他的房間錄製的[10]。
