欧亚红尾鸲（學名：Phoenicurus phoenicurus，英語：Common redstart，台湾作紅尾鴝），或稱普通红尾鸲，是雀形目紅尾鴝屬的小型鸟类。^[3]和它的近亲很类似的是，它已开始被认为属于鸫科，但近年来才被重新划分到了鹟科之下。

命名與分類

該物種為卡尔·林奈於《自然系統》第十版內描述的鳥類之一。^[4]其學名中的phoenicurus在拉丁語中就是指這種鳥類，源自於古希臘語中有「紅色」之意的φοινιξ（羅馬化：phoinix）或φοινικος（羅馬化：phoinikos）及「尾巴」之意的-ουρος（羅馬化：-ouros）組成。^[5]^:389^[6]

其英文名稱的「-start」來自於古英語，為「尾巴」之意，全名指稱這個物種會抖動其紅色尾羽的習性。^[7]此名稱除了同屬的其他物種之外，現也用於一些親緣上較不相關的鳥類上，例如同科歌鸲属的白腹短翅鸲（White-bellied redstart）及更為遙遠的新世界的橙尾鸲莺（英语：American Redstart）（American redstart）。^[3]
