Stability AI是一家总部位于英国的人工智能公司[1]，以其开放源代码的文字转图像模型Stable Diffusion而闻名。

Stability AI于2019年由伊马德・莫斯塔克（英语：Emad Mostaque）与赛勒斯・侯德斯（英语：Cyrus Hodes）共同创立。[2][3][4][5][6]

2022年8月，Stability AI发布其开放源代码及权重的文字转图像模型Stable Diffusion，因此声名大噪。[2]

2024年3月23日，伊马德・莫斯塔克辞去执行长一职。董事会任命营运长黄珊珊（英语：Shan Shan Wong）与技术长克里斯蒂安·拉福特（英语：Christian Laforte）为代理共同首席执行官。[7]

2024年6月25日，视觉特效公司Weta数位前执行长普雷姆·阿卡拉朱（英语：Prem Akkaraju）被任命为公司新任首席执行官。[8][9]

该公司在资金募集方面的一个重要里程碑，是由Coatue和Lightspeed Venture Partners领投的1.01亿美元融资轮，O'Shaughnessy Ventures LLC 也有参与。[10]

产品与应用

Stability AI在生成式人工智能领域最具代表性的成果就是Stable Diffusion──一种能根据文字描述自动生成图像的AI模型。除了 Stable Diffusion 之外，该公司也开发用于影片、音讯、3D 和文字的生成式人工智能模型。[15]Stability AI也与ARM合作，将其文字转音讯模型“Stable Audio Open”优化到搭载Arm处理器的移动设备上，大幅提升运算效能。[16]

2023年7月，Stability AI联合创办人赛勒斯·侯德斯（英语：Cyrus Hodes）对执行长伊马德・莫斯塔克（英语：Emad Mostaque）及公司提起诉讼，指控对方以诈欺、虚假陈述与违反受托责任等方式诱使他在2021年10月与2022年5月分两次，每次仅以100美元出售其15%的公司股份，理由是Stability AI基本上毫无价值。然而在三个月后，Stability AI即以约10亿美元募得1.01亿美元资金。诉讼指出，以目前估值计算，赛勒斯·侯德斯当初的股份价值超过 1.5亿美元。他还指控伊马德・莫斯塔克滥用公司资金支付个人开销，包括在伦敦豪宅的租金、奢侈品消费，以及其妻子用公司资金购买的一枚价值9万美元的钻戒等。[17][18][19]
