凱爾·亞歷山大·馬瑟（英語：Keir Alexander Mather，/kɪər ˈmeɪðər/，1998年—）是英國工黨政治家，在2023年的補選（英語：2023 Selby and Ainsty by-election）中當選塞爾比和安斯蒂選區國會議員，填補此前保守黨原國會議員艾達思辭職所出現的空缺。馬瑟當選時年僅25歲，成為下議院最年輕的在任議員（英語：Baby of the House）。

早年生活和教育[編輯]

馬瑟在2023年7月20日舉行的北約郡補選中贏得塞爾比和安斯蒂的席位，填補此前保守黨原國會議員艾達思辭職所出現的空缺。亞當斯此前在2019年大選中以20,137票的多數票當選該席位，故是次補選也成為工黨有史以來在補選中推翻的最大的多數票票數，也是自1994年達德利西補選（英語：1994 Dudley West by-election）以來工黨補選候選人贏得的最大鐘擺。[21][22]

馬瑟當選時年僅25歲，並由此接替出生於1996 年的納迪亞·惠托姆（英語：Nadia Whittome）成為下議院最年輕的在任議員（俗稱「議院寶貝」）[23]。退伍軍人事務國務大臣麥忠義在馬瑟當選後表示國會「絕不能成為《中間人》（以青少年學童為主角的電視節目）的翻版」，此話被認為是對馬瑟年齡的貶損，然而麥忠義否認[14][24]。麥忠義的言論遭包括工黨領袖施紀賢在內的工黨政治人物批評[25]。《衛報》的新聞報導則指出，曾任首相的威廉·格萊斯頓和溫斯頓·邱吉爾分別在22歲和25歲時成為國會議員[25]。

馬瑟在2023年9月5日暑期休會結束後宣誓就任國會議員[26]。他在同月接受英國廣播公司新聞部和《新聞界（英語：The Press (York)）》採訪時表示，他作為議員的首要任務是為受生活成本危機（英語：2021–present United Kingdom cost-of-living crisis）影響的人提供支持，而其他優先事項包括解決特殊教育供應不足、農村犯罪、反社會行為、國民保健署服務表現不佳、公共交通服務不足與支持小企業等問題[27][6]。馬瑟在2023年10月16日在關於幼兒保育的辯論中發表了他在國會的首次演講（英語：Maiden speech）[28]。

政治觀點[編輯]

馬瑟在2016年英國去留歐盟公投中投票支持英國留在歐洲聯盟。然而，他不支持脫歐後的英國重新加入歐盟或就去留歐盟問題舉行二次公投。[27]

2023年，馬瑟對工黨領袖施紀賢維持最多僅為無業家長的首兩名子女提供福利的政策的觀點表示支持，並補充道：「我認為工黨掌權時將從保守黨繼承絕對的經濟混亂，而工黨在掌權後將須作出極為艱難的決定，而我支持工黨政府這樣做。」[29][23]

馬瑟就性別認同有過「女人就像我的媽媽或我的繼姐妹，生來就是女人。但有極少數人覺得自己生來的性別是錯誤的，而他們應該得到尊重和關懷」的言論[7]。2018年，在牛津聯盟的一場辯論中，馬瑟據稱因吉曼·基爾聲稱跨性別女性不是女性而稱其為「可憎的恐跨者」。馬瑟還表示，基爾對跨性別女性作出了「不人性和徹頭徹尾危險的評論」。馬瑟在上任國會議員後曾被問及是否想在2023年撤回對基爾的言論，他回應道：「我所說的都記錄在案。我真的強烈不同意她對這個議題的看法和態度。」[30][7]

馬瑟是男同性戀者[31]。他是赫爾京士頓流浪（英語：Hull Kingston Rovers）橄欖球隊的球迷[3]。
