《The Signpost》（直譯為「路標」）或稱《維基簡訊》，前稱《The Wikipedia Signpost》（直譯為「維基百科路標」），是英語維基百科的線上報紙，由維基百科社群主辦，維基百科編輯撰稿，主要報道維基百科社群及維基百科的消息，包括仲裁委員會裁決、維基媒體基金會議題及其他與維基百科相關的項目（英語：Outline of Wikipedia#Wikipedia-related projects）。該報由維基人邁克爾·斯諾於2005年1月創辦該刊並擔任編輯，直至2008年2月獲任命為維基百科基金會的董事。

前總編The ed17表示，自己於2012年至2015年就任期間，該報報道的範疇不斷擴大，不僅報道維基百科及維基百科社群，還關注更大範圍的維基百科運動[1]。2015年1月，維基百科編輯Gamaliel和Go Phightins!繼任總編，之後Pete Forsyth和Evad37分別於2016年和2017年繼任總編。2015年6月報道歐洲修改全景自由的法律後，《The Signpost》被許多出版物當作延伸材料引用。

線上報紙《The Wikipedia Signpost》於2005年1月首次出版，後更名《The Signpost》[2][4]，後來出任維基媒體基金會董事的維基人邁克爾·斯諾舉辦[2][3]，形式類似拉里·桑格於2001年11月20日創立的《維基百科公告》（Wikipedia: Announcements） 、元維基於2002年11月14日創立的《維基媒體新聞》（Wikimedia News）[5]和德語維基百科於2003年12月10日創立的《維基速遞》（Wikipedia-Kurier）[6]。

斯諾在創刊號上表示「希望這份報紙，能夠為關心維基百科社群發展的人們帶去有價值的新聞消息」，稱「The Signpost」這個名字代表着維基百科編輯在討論頁發表帖子時使用數字簽名的做法[7]。2005年8月，斯諾辭任《The Signpost》總編，同時繼續為該報撰稿，直至2008年2月獲委任董事[8]。之後Ral315繼任總編一職，他在自己的首篇貼文中寫道：「我由衷感謝邁克爾對《Signpost》的貢獻，這是個偉大的構想，能幫助維基人了解維基百科的動向[9] 。」2007年9月，他在《The Signpost》舉行調查，結果顯示每周約2800名維基百科用戶閱讀該報[10]。

截至2008年11月第200期出版[12]，報紙共刊出181人撰寫的1731篇文章[12]。2009年2月，接任總編的維基百科用戶Ragesoss改革版面布局[13]。2010年6月，HaeB接任辭任總編的Ragesoss，一上任引發《The Wikipedia Signpost》是否應更名為《The Signpost》的辯論[14]。同年，由志願編者主辦的姊妹出版物陸續面世，包括播客《維基百科周刊》（The Wikipedia Weekly）及新聞簡報《維基志》（The Wikizine）[15][16]。
