2021年剛果共和國於3月21日舉行總統選舉[1]，在此次選舉中現任總統德尼·薩蘇-恩格索以88%的得票率再次當選。[2]他的主要對手居伊·布里斯·帕爾費·科萊拉在投票結束數小時後去世。[3]
選舉制度
[編輯]剛果共和國總統任期五年，最多可連任兩次。選舉中只有獲得絕對多數票的候選人才能當選，如果沒有候選人獲得絕對多數票，則得票最高的前兩名候選人將在憲法法院宣布結果後二十一天進行第二輪選舉。[4]該國在2015年通過了一部新憲法，使薩蘇-恩格索可繼續連任。[5]
選舉活動
[編輯]薩蘇-恩格索在2019年12月舉行的一次剛果勞動黨大會上被指定為該黨的總統候選人[6]，並於2021年1月23日正式宣布參選[7]，他的連任被認為幾乎沒有懸念。[8]
全國範圍內的電信服務在選舉日當天中斷[9]，與2016年大選的情況如出一轍，當時這一狀況遭到了非洲聯盟等國際組織的譴責。[10]
選舉結果
[編輯]選舉當天下午，反對派總統候選人居伊·布里斯·帕爾費·柯雷拉斯在飛往法國接受治療的飛機上因感染新冠肺炎去世[11][12]，而他在幾個小時前發了一段視頻，稱自己在「與死亡抗爭」。[13]在此次選舉中，現任總統薩蘇-恩格索以88%的得票率再度連任。[2]
