1ES 1927+654是一個位於天龍座的2型塞弗特星系[1],距離地球約2.7億光年,其中心有一個活躍星系核(AGN)[2][3][4][5]。該星系外觀相對普通,但其核心由超大質量黑洞供能,是其X射線閃光的來源。
該星系核的亮度和振盪行為不可預測,因而成為光學、射電、紫外和X射線波段特別觀測的研究對象。多篇分析其異常特徵的科學論文對吸積盤和黑洞環境的傳統理論提出了挑戰[6][7][8][9][10][11]。
「1ES 1927+654」是愛因斯坦快速巡天(Einstein Slew Survey)的一個星表編號,這項X波段巡天由愛因斯坦衛星實施,結果於1992年首次發布。
發現
[編輯]1ES 1927+654因其不可預測的行為而引起天文學家關注。其突變特性使其成為全球X射線、光學和射電觀測站多波段聯合觀測的目標[12][13][2][14]。
該天體最早在愛因斯坦快速巡天觀測中被編錄,根據其發射線特徵被歸類為塞弗特星系[15]。
2017年監測到其亮度劇烈增加,星系紫外波段亮度增強了約40倍,引發了後續對成因的研究[8]。2018年X射線和紫外望遠鏡的詳細觀測顯示,活躍星系核的吸積盤發生了部分或整體瓦解[14]。其准周期振盪(QPO)周期在兩年內從18分鐘縮短至7.1分鐘,展現出獨特的演變特徵[16]。未來計劃通過X射線和引力波觀測驗證可能的解釋[16] 。
2020年的研究表明,極端變光現象可能與黑洞周圍磁場失穩有關。這對黑洞吸積模型提出了挑戰,並啟發了有關活躍星系核爆發的新理論[17]。
2023-2024年間,甚長基線干涉測量觀測到了黑洞附近形成的等離子體噴流[18]。
