1968年民主黨全國代表大會
1968年民主黨全國代表大會是1968年8月26日至29日在美國伊利諾伊州芝加哥舉行的民主黨全國代表大會。由於時任總統林登·約翰遜宣布不尋求連任，因此這次大會的目的是為民主黨選出新的總統候選人。 [1]最終副總統休伯特·漢弗萊和緬因州參議員埃德蒙·馬斯基在此次大會上分別被提名為總統和副總統候選人。
期間反越戰團體以及反戰人士、參與民主黨總統候選人角逐的尤金·麥卡錫的支持者在場外抗議，他們遭到芝加哥警察的嚴厲鎮壓[2][3]。
