2026年冬季奧林匹克運動會首次將滑雪登山運動納入到正式比賽項目。[1]首屆冬奧會滑雪登山比賽包括三個項目：男子短距離、女子短距離和混合接力。[2]男子個人賽和女子個人賽也曾被提議納入正式比賽項目，但未被批准。[3][4]
