Jar'Edo Wens是一篇内容蓄意虚构的维基百科条目，于2005年5月29日建立，在发现之前已存在将近十年，直到2014年11月时被注意到，并于2015年3月被删除（英语：Deletion of articles on Wikipedia）。当时，该条目是维基百科历史上被揭露时存在最久的恶作剧条目。

“Jar'Edo Wens”条目建立于2005年5月29日，内容只有两句话，且没有引用任何来源。该恶作剧条目描述一尊澳洲原住民神祇，内容为“象征世俗知识与身体的力量，由Altjira（英语：Altjira）创造，以确保人类不会过于傲慢或自负，与胜利与智慧相关联”。条目名称很可能为英文姓名“Jared Owens”的变体，经过字母间距、标点符号与大小写的改动而成。[1][2][3][4][5]

该条目的建立者是一名使用澳洲IP地址的未注册用户，[4] 该用户于2005年5月的编辑活动仅持续了11分钟。他的另一项编辑是将“Yohrmum”（可能是英文“Your mum”（Maternal insult（英语：Maternal insult））的变形）加入澳洲神祇列表中。该编辑很快就被发现并移除，但“Jar'Edo Wens”条目则直到近十年后才被识破并删除。

在条目存在近十年的期间，“Jar'Edo Wens”这篇恶作剧条目被翻译至其他语言版本的维基百科，包括法文、波兰文、俄文与土耳其文。其中两个语言版本甚至曾短暂出现“yohrmum”的条目。此外，在维基数据上也建立了相应的项目。

2012年，恶作剧条目“Jar'Edo Wens”的内容无意被复制在一本关于无神论的书的500位“历史上已失传的神祇与宗教列表”（英语：gods and religions in history that have fallen out of favour）内。[5][6]`

该恶作剧条目在维基百科上共存在了9年9个月又3天。[7]

自2005年9月的席根塔勒传记事件后，维基百科限制新条目只能由注册用户建立；尽管此举让新增假资讯的条目变得更加困难，但旧有的恶作剧条目（尤其是低流量的条目）仍容易被忽略。[8]

2009年，该条目被标记为“多项问题”，其中包括缺乏来源。[9]

直到2014年11月，该条目才首次被标示为可能为恶作剧。2015年3月1日，有人提议删除该条目，两天后，该条目由管理员 Newyorkbrad确认删除。2015年3月15日，维基百科批评网站Wikipediocracy公布了这起恶作剧[10]，引发各大新闻媒体广泛报导。[4]
