绿巨嘴鸟属（学名：Aulacorhynchus，台湾作绿鵎鵼属）是啄木鸟目巨嘴鸟科下的一个属。[3]本属物种均分布于南美洲地区，目前下属14个物种。[3]
命名历史
[编辑]本属为英国鸟类学家约翰·古尔德于1835年建立。[4]其模式种后续在1840年由英国鸟类学家乔治·罗伯特·格雷指定为沟嘴巨嘴鸟。[1][5]其属名Andigena来自古希腊语的αὖλᾰξ（罗马化：aulax，指皱纹、沟槽）及ῥύγχος（罗马化：rhunkhos，指鸟喙）组合而成。[6]
