皮克斯基尔陨石
皮克斯基尔流星体（Peekskill meteorite）于1992年10月9日在美国上空破裂，此一事件被数千名参与越过东海岸活动的民众证实。这个破裂的流星体画过了肯塔基和撞击到纽约州的皮克斯基尔，并危害到在马里布公园的一辆雪佛兰。许多大城市，像匹兹堡等，都目睹了这颗明亮的流星。这颗陨石向东北方而去，有着明显的绿色。这颗流星体至少被16架独立的摄影机拍摄到，并且是最著名的流星体事件[1]。
