异齿爪兽属（学名：Anisodon）是已灭绝的爪兽科下的一属，生活于中新世晚期的欧洲。化石发现于德国巴伐利亚普福尔岑的哈马什米尔达黏土坑。
命名学
[编辑]异齿爪兽属的学名“Anisodon”来自于希腊语的“anisos”，意思为“相异的”、以及“odontes”，意思为“牙齿”[2]。
描述

异齿爪兽属的肩高约为150 cm（59英寸），体重可达600千克（1,300磅）。它们的长指爪被认为可用于抓取树上的枝叶，或是用于抵御掠食者。
古环境学
[编辑]异齿爪兽属生存的地区属于季节性的干燥泛滥平原，并有蜿蜒的溪流自南向北流淌其中[3]，与它们生活于同一地点的物种包括偶蹄目的中新羚属[4]、食肉目的河川兽属[5]和假猫属[5]、长鼻目的恐象属[4]和四棱齿象属[4]、以及啮齿目的大河狸[4]等。
