概念专辑

概念专辑（英语：Concept album）指的是乐曲全部围绕相同主题的一种音乐专辑。

通常情况下，流行音乐的专辑都是由歌手的乐曲及翻唱乐曲等彼此之间无关系的单独乐曲构成。而概念专辑的定义则如上文所述，但如何才算是“围绕相同主题”有模糊地带，所以概念专辑本身的定义并不严谨。

概念专辑最早源自于民谣歌手伍迪·盖瑟瑞1940年的《Dust Bowl Ballads》，随后由传统流行音乐歌手法兰克·辛纳屈在20世纪40年代至50 年代的推广一系列专辑而逐渐流行起来。在1960年代，备受推崇的概念专辑由各种摇滚乐队发行（如披头士1967年的《比伯军曹寂寞芳心俱乐部》），以致前卫摇滚和摇滚歌剧（Rock opera）被发明。
