[编辑]2024年10月12日，在举行2019年电影《准备好了没》的特别放映会期间，探照灯影业正式宣布正在与电波静默制片公司共同开发续集。萨玛拉·维文将会回归饰演前作的角色。前作的编剧盖·布西克和R·克里斯多福·墨菲（R. Christopher Murphy）以及制作团队亦将会回归[1][2]。2025年3月，凯瑟琳·纽顿参与演出[3][4]。4月，莎拉·米歇尔·盖拉、萧恩·哈特西、内斯特·卡博内尔、凯文·杜兰、大卫·柯南伯格以及伊莱贾·伍德参与演出，并公布正式片名为《Ready or Not: Here I Come》[5][6]。
