卡尔·W·赫根罗特（Carl William Hergenrother，1973年—）是一位美国天文学家，小行星和彗星的发现者[1][2]。
根据小行星中心的统计，他在1993年至1999年期间在卡特林那巡天系统中发现并共同发现了32颗编号小行星[3]。他还发现了许多彗星，包括长周期彗星 C/1996 R1（Hergenrother-Spahr）和三颗周期彗星—赫根罗特彗星、175P/Hergenrother和P/1999 V1（Catalina）。他也是2016年发射OSIRIS-REx太空船的科学和操作团队成员，该太空船是对近地小行星101955进行采样返回的任务[1]。
1996年5月3日，外主带小行星3099以他的名字命名[2][4]。
