生平
[编辑]克林斯出生於美國波士頓，母親名為Rebecca Tippens。 [5]由於他的家庭很貧窮，經常因欠租而被趕走，他小時候最少每年要換一次學校。最後在Greenfield Center School畢業後，於1992年在Northfield Mount Hermon高中畢業。大學在芝加哥大學修讀社會學。[6]在演戲之前，他在克林頓政府時期的白宮總統人事辦公室實習了四個月。[7][8]
職業生涯
[编辑]克林斯在1999年得到電影《Liberty Heights》和《Girl Interrupted》的演出機會後，到了洛杉磯，正式取藝名為米沙·克林斯。由於他曾到俄羅斯，能帶俄羅斯口音說話，所以得到過很多這類角色。尤其是電視節目《24》第一季中的Alexis Drazen。此後他也一直客串於各電視節目和電影。2006年他主演電影《Karla》，飾演Paul Bernardo。他於2008年開始在《邪恶力量》中飾演的卡斯提尔（Castiel），成為常駐演員，使他的知名度增加。本來他以為自己是在試鏡一個惡魔，一个頂級惡魔，所以儘量表現得好鬥而且卑劣。 但他讀完台詞後，該劇的製作人Eric Kripke才表示其實他們是要一個天使，只是為了保密而不公佈。後來他就被錄取了，演出《邪惡力量》第四至十季。[9] 為了演繹這個角色，米夏讀了《啟示錄》以做準備。[10]
在2008年他在電影《Loot》中首次擔任助理製片人，該片導演是他中學時最要好的朋友，而這是他朋友的第一部電影，他負責編輯的工作。
2022年，他在CW即將上映的《哥譚騎士》節目中飾演雙面人哈維·丹特。[11][12]
個人生活
[编辑]2002年，在緬因州和Victoria Vantoch結婚，[13][14]兩人的長子West Anaximander在2010年9月23日出生，二女兒Maison Marie生于2012年9月25日。
