The chinese meridians are used in various oriental fight styles, as well as in healthcare; e.g. in tradititional herbal medicine, massage techniques, ... The schematic was based on an image of the Northern Crane Martial Arts Association dojo (http://www.northerncrane.net/ANATOMICAL%20ACUCHART.jpg ). Permission was given for the use of the image at wikimedia commons by sensei Phil Perez. |
