English: Museum of Communism
On March, 14, 1898 in this house of the railway worker Peter Rumjantsev, an event, considered fatal for 1/6 of the Earth and even for the world community, took place. Here the creation of the Russian social-democratic working party was proclaimed. By the 25-anniversary of the congress that small house was transformed into a museum. Now its displays are interesting not only for the fans of the history of communistic movement, but also as a view of the life at the end of 19th - the beginning of 20th century. The theme of the Museum is "Communism- the Dream, the Reality, and the Nightmare". |
