鮋梅鯛（學名：Caesioscorpis theagenes）是鮋梅鯛科（學名：Caesioscorpididae）及鮋梅鯛屬的唯一物種，為輻鰭魚綱日鱸目鯻亞目魚類，之前曾長期歸類於鱸形目鮨科之中。[2]
分布
[编辑]本魚分布於澳洲西部海域，體長可達25公分，棲息在岩礁區，屬肉食性，生活習性不明。[2]
分類
[编辑]本魚過去一直放在形態相似的鱸形目鮨科之中，直到2020年的基因檢測，才發現牠是柴魚科（細刺魚科）的姐妹群[1]，從而將其歸類於日鱸目鯻亞目之下。[3]
